With Craft in Focus at the wonderful National Trust Hyde Hall fast approaching (26th to 29th August) It is time to boost stock. Not enough to send off to Assay yet, but getting there.
Staying away from home always worries me. Does anyone else worry about THE SHOWER! New venue. New facilities. I approach the shower with trepidation. Stand a minute and contemplate the situation. What do I turn? What do I press? Will I be assaulted by icy cold water, or scalded? Will I make the whole bathroom a flood zone? Why, oh why are showers SO COMPLICATED.? (Note to self... if staying at a hotel, remember to take glasses into the shower in order to work out which is shampoo and which is shower gel). Rant over.
